We are a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve the living standards of rural populations in Northern Thailand and far-western Nepal.
Our work is conducted through the understanding of culture, norms, behavior, deliberate discussions, involvement of the local population, and the application of practical social/scientific methods.
Currently, we are working in 2 villages – one in Chiang Mai, Thailand and another in Bajhang, Nepal in the areas of eco-tourism, education and health.

The PADs Project
Currently, we are working in 2 villages in Bajhang in the area of women’s menstrual health. Our goal is to make menstrual pads available to all women within 6 months (by March 2021) in both villages while holding discussions about the uses, benefits and behavior changes around it. (read more)
The WISH Project
We asked the children in our village (Bhadgaon, Bajhang district, Nepal) to draw their wish of who they wanted to be, or what they wanted to do.
At first they were shy and felt they could not draw well. Once they saw others draw they wanted to do it too, and the excitement grew. It brought hope and smiles to the children. As you see in the pictures and their writing, the children here have wishes and dreams just like children anywhere in the world, despite the lack of privilege. They want to be singers, actors, doctors, nurses, builders, policemen, comedians, and scientists…. (read more)
